Rules for sending parcels.
SDEK delivers shipments in strict accordance with the established rules and requirements. Each shipment is subject to mandatory approval by the carrier.
Duties of an employee of the reception point (PVZ):
- checking all necessary documents for shipment;
- check the contents of the parcel (including documents and other attachments) and make sure that there are no items prohibited for transportation;
- record violations or disputed positions.
Sender’s responsibilities:
- provide the passport details of the sender and recipient;
- correctly specify all necessary information;
- sign the invoice after verifying the data.
You can also issue an invoice in advance — for on the website (click the «Log in» button and you will be taken to your Personal Account) or in in the mobile application. It is not necessary to print the invoice, it is enough to simply inform the manager of the order number or show the barcode from the application.
If you pack the parcel yourself, remember that you cannot completely pack the attachment (wrap it tightly with foil, tape it) and seal the box — the employee must carefully inspect the contents before receiving the shipment, check it for compliance with the requirements. Only if all the conditions are met, the shipment is accepted for transportation by SDEK.
