What are the terms of free parcel storage?

The storage time depends on the type of shipment:

  • in the post office — 24 hours (from the moment of receiving the SMS notification);
  • from individuals — 7 working days;
  • orders from online stores — 14 working days;
  • for shipments with cash on delivery payment — 7 business days;
  • for documents — 7 business days.

After the free storage period expires:

  • a storage fee is charged: 0.61 AZN for each calendar day;
  • the maximum storage period in the SDEC warehouse is 60 days.

Upon expiration of the specified period, in cases stipulated by law, as well as if it is impossible to return to the sender (refusal, lack of contact, unavailability of the address and other similar circumstances), the shipment is subject to disposal in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation and internal regulations of CDEK-AZ.

You can find out the exact paid storage period for your order:

  • from notifications of order receipt at the pick—up point — via SMS or messengers;
  • in your Personal Account (the «Log in» button on on the main page) in the «My orders» section;
  • in the mobile application.

***Note: The shelf life of postal items detained during customs control is 6 months from the date of their placement in a temporary storage warehouse of the customs authorities. After the expiration of the established period, unclaimed shipments are subject to disposal in accordance with the procedure provided for by current legislation.
